An invitation to contemplation. Inner contemplation Kyoto, Japan. In this rose-lined alley, the air is saturated with the sparkling scent of flowers in full bloom. Hidden at the end is the entrance to a surprisingly mineral Japanese garden, where stones, gravel and wood mark the path of life. I was inspired by the surprising dry gardens of Japan. I’ve transformed them into a dreamlike olfactory interpretation, where sensations are as present as the mineral and plant elements that make up the garden.
